ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984, SECTION 14 TEMPORARY CLOSURE & 40MPH SPEED RESTRICTION A38 SUTTON COLDFIELD BYPASS, MIDDLETON Warwickshire County Council has made a Temporary Traffic Order details as indicated below: Effect of Order | A38 Sutton Coldfield Bypass, Middleton closed to northbound vehicular traffic between A38 Roundabout from M6 Toll T3 Northbound Off Slip to A38 Roundabout from M6 Toll T3 Southbound Off Slip. In addition, a 40-mph speed restriction has been imposed effective 24 hrs all days on northbound carriageway between A38 Roundabout from M6 Toll T3 Northbound Slip to A38 Roundabout from M6 Toll T3 Southbound Slip | Reason for Order | Carriageway resurfacing and associated works, overnight 2000-0600hrs weeknights only. Speed restriction required for public safety when the road is open during the day and at weekends. | Order Effective from: 16 March 2026 for up to 18 months or until works are completed, whichever is sooner. | Anticipated Completion Date: 3 April 2026 | Access & Diversion: No Vehicular access & egress whilst works are in progress.
